PA Race Night (Mar'08)
It was a sell-out event and a great evening was had by all. Even the youngest children grasped the concept of betting - helped considerably by all the parents who seemed to throughly enjoy themselves! We had some wonderful raffle and auction prizes and these, combined with Barclays generous offer of doubling some of the money raised, meant we raised a staggering £3,200!! Thank you to everyone who supported the event in any way.

Although the idea of these is for the children to have fun with their friends rather than focus on fund raising, we still managed to raise about £400 from the events, so well done everyone.

The Xmas bazaar was a great success, raising £3,800.

Book Sale
The book sale held in school was very successful and all the children enjoyed buying a book or two and we sold out! £65 was raised- so a big well done and thank you for supporting this.
Uniform Sale
The uniform sale was a roaring success and we made £117! All of this will go to the PA fund to
benefit all the children at the school so thank you from all the PA Committee.
Quiz Night
The Quiz night was well attended and a good time was had by all. The
winning team, "BOB" Brains of Breakspear went home with a bottle of wine each
and we raised £150 for the PA school funds.
Drumathon
Thank you to Kathryn Burrows (a Mum with children in both schools) who runs Monkey Music. She (and Monkey) came in during the summer term and held a sponsored drumathon for nursery and reception children. Everyone had a great time and all the money raised, £273, was donated to PA funds. Kathryn has even offered to make this an annual event so thank you again! Do any other parents have similar ideas?
Money donated to Infant and Junior Schools for new equipment 
All this money raised has gone to a variety of projects in both schools over the past two terms in 2007.
The PA are delighted to announce we have funded a new interactive whiteboard system for the Special Needs Room in Junior School, a new sound system for Infant School Hall and enough digital cameras so that every class in Infant School has their own.

£4000. has been paid to the Infant School for Home Reader books as requested at the last meeting. £1100. of this money is from the Monkey Music and other Infant fundraisers held in the school year 2007-2008.
